SADO Island Photographs

Sado is an island in Sea of Japan, and it is located in the area cold Liman current and warm Tsushima current meets. Subtropical and subarctic vegetation coexist in this unique natural environment. In the northern part of the island, a pristine forest still remains untouched, and giant cedar trees (Cryptomeria japonica) grow wild in the high mountain range.
