Tanigawa-dake in late autumn (Minakami-machi, Gumma pref.)

It is the first snowcap of Tanigawa-dake when the mountains are still having trees in autumn orange. When taking photographs in the mountains, it is very rare to have a good weather. When I took this photograph, I had been eagerly waiting for the moment when the light shines from the lead-colored sky covered with thick clouds. Sceneries of seasonal changes started around the top of the mountain and permanent snow I see at below my eyes tells us the visit of superb winter of this region.
